Great Careers Network Unveils New Logo and Redesigned Website

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Great Careers Network Unveils New Logo and Redesigned Website to Support Expanded Career Education Mission

Paoli, PA — February 28, 2026 — Great Careers Network, a nonprofit focused on career education and workforce readiness, proudly announces its new logo and redesigned website after months of strategic planning, collaboration, and volunteer leadership: https://greatcareers.org.

This milestone represents more than a visual update. It reflects the organization’s commitment to clearly defining its mission, strengthening its positioning, and expanding its impact across diverse audiences.

A Strategic Brand Refresh

As a volunteer-run nonprofit hosting 18–25 career education events each month, Great Careers Network recognized the need for a modern identity that better communicates:

  • Its longevity and measurable community impact
  • Its evolving and diverse audience
  • Its growing focus on career readiness for teens entering the workforce

Founded in April 2010 as a Meetup community, leadership transitioned in 2015, and the organization formally became a nonprofit in 2017, under the name Philadelphia Area Great Careers Group. Since then, Great Careers Network has grown into a trusted resource serving:

  • Job seekers
  • Employed professionals
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Career changers
  • Veterans
  • Students preparing to enter the workforce

Guided by Strategic Expertise

The brand transformation was directed by David Nordlund, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of The DN Design Group, who led the Board through structured discovery, competitive analysis, narrative development, and identity refinement.

“An effective brand strategy is a cohesive system aligned around a clear position,” said Nordlund. “When organizations understand their audience, define how they uniquely deliver value, and align their messaging, they can build trust and long-term impact.”

Project coordination and strategic integration were led by Marketing & AI Strategist Christie Calahan, who ensured timelines, measurable outcomes, and system integrations remained aligned throughout the initiative. Her leadership helped translate strategic insights into actionable systems and data-informed decision-making.

A Symbol of Community and Momentum

The new logo visually represents connection, unity, and aspiration. Its geometric icon forms a star-like shape composed of abstract human figures arranged in a circle — symbolizing collective strength, shared purpose, and the organization’s mission to help individuals shine together.

A Volunteer-Powered Impact

Great Careers Network operates through volunteer leadership and community support. Since its founding, the organization has delivered measurable results, including:

  • Over 6,500 career education events
  • More than 8,500 active members on meetup (not including the website)
  • Over 48,000 event RSVPs

Funding is supported through memberships, donations, sponsorships, and community partnerships.

Expanding Focus: Career Readiness for Teens

While known for adult career education, the organization is expanding its reach through its Career Readiness Camp for Teens, running May through August, both online and in Paoli, PA. The program helps students develop resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and career marketing skills needed to navigate today’s AI-driven hiring landscape.

Looking Ahead

The new logo and website mark the beginning of a new chapter focused on clarity, community, and growth. Great Careers Network calls on volunteers, sponsors, board members, and partners to take action—join its mission to strengthen career education and economic empowerment by visiting the website or contacting us to learn how you can contribute.
