David has over thirty years of experience as a human resources leader in global IT companies, business process outsourcing, and a nonprofit health agency. Leveraging his experience of working with people, he helps organizations by providing consulting and leadership coaching. His passion is career coaching through Insight Career Coaching, volunteering, and now running the Career Support for Professional Immigrants group.

The event is an excellent opportunity for immigrant professionals to learn about the interview process in the US and how to succeed in job interviews. The event will be held virtually, and you can join from anywhere.

Our speaker is Nelson Warley who will share his expertise and experience interviewing candidates for sales and marketing positions. Interview practices in the USA are different from many other countries, and we want to help you understand how to prepare for an interview and be ready to answer behavioral interview questions.

Nelson Warley co-founded True Places, a modern outdoor products company that reflects how we live our lives today: relevant for the most meaningful outdoor moments and at a quality that we expect. Before founding True Places, Nelson spent 15 years in the consumer-packaged goods industry, leading brand and innovation teams. Most recently, Nelson led the creation of the e-commerce division at Campbell Soup Company in Camden, NJ.
Nelson has over twenty years of experience interviewing and hiring candidates for marketing, sales, and product development positions across various venues (office, virtual, career fairs, etc.). Nelson has volunteered for over six years at the Welcoming Center in Philadelphia, teaching interview preparation techniques and participating in mock interview work sessions.
